Sound Express is happy to help you with your very special
day. When it comes to something as important as your
wedding, there are a lot of things to consider. The
entertainment company you choose will be responsible for the
mood and momentum of your event and could make or break your
day. After the event is over, you simply can't get it
back. That's why you need the regions leader in the mobile
entertainment industry. Based in
Modesto, California,
Sound Express super serves a 100 mile radius and has been in
business for over 28 years. We
handle all types of events but specialize
in weddings. Sound Express believes in crowd
involvement and we've got no problem getting out there to dance and entertain you and your
guests ( like the chicken dance , the pizza dance , electric
slide etc… ). One of the things that set us apart from the
competition is the fact that we have ALL ADULT disc
Jockeys. The last thing you need on your special day is a
teenage DJ that thinks he or she knows what you want to
hear! What we bring to the table is professionalism.
Rest
assured, you'll find it with Sound Express. It's one thing
to say we can deliver. It's another thing to do it time
and time again! We have an
incredible list of references and referrals for your review and
we encourage you to take a look at the competition. Let's
face it, when it comes to your event, whether it's big or small,
you don't want to leave anything to chance. The following
is a small list for your convenience to help you differentiate
Sound Express from the other mobile entertainment companies you
may consider...
Sound Express
only cares about one thing. YOU, it doesn't matter about what we
have done or who we have performed for. Your event needs to be
the way you want it. We will make sure that is what you get.
Bellow are some things that people should know when hiring a DJ.
Our industry is a mess at the moment. People are becoming DJ's
for fun and money and that's not bad but it comes at your
expense.
Why does the wedding
professionals choose Sound Express over the other DJ companies
to run their wedding shows? People like: A Moment in Time,
She said Yes, Wedding Center USA, Princess Bridal, Dale Tomy and
Associates,
Locket & Sullivan, Turlock Wellness
Center and others?
Because They
Can Depend On Us The Do A Great Job. So Why Not You?
Come to a
Bridle show and see us here are some of the shows coming soon.

Just A
Thought
Carl's
Jr. advertises the $ 6.00 burger for $ 2.99. They say you are
getting the same "value" at a better price. So let's look at
this.
$ 6.oo Burger - I go into a restaurant
and sit down. A person comes up and gives me a menu and says,
what would you like to eat
$ 2.99 Burger - I go to a counter and
give my order to the clerk after looking at a big menu board.
$ 6.oo Burger - The burger is brought
out to my table and placed in front of me. I have a plate,
napkin, condiments and the waiter asks me if I would like to
have more to drink and then goes and gets it. After returning if
I need anything more the waiter will go and get it for me.
$
2.99 Burger – My number is called and I go to the counter and
get my burger. I then go to the soda machine and refill my drink
and then I stop by the condiment counter to get ketchup, mustard
or whatever I need then I return to my table.
So the moral to the
story is this,
Fast
Food DJ – I speak to the DJ on the phone and plan through
mail, e-mail and phone calls.
Fine
Dinning DJ – I meet the DJ in an office and they listen to what
I would like at my event.
Fast
Food DJ – I purchase all
of my music and give it to the DJ
Fine
Dinning DJ – The DJ gets my music for me.
Fast
Food DJ – I look for the
DJ after dinner to tell him/her I want to do the toast.
Fine
Dinning DJ – The DJ makes sure all of the champagne is
poured, my parents are seated at their table, the best man and
maid of honor are at the head table and my photographer is
standing ready to take pictures. My DJ asks me are you ready for
the toast?

A friend of a friend
A wedding where the family had a total budget of $50,000.00, did
not spend much time
picking out a DJ.
They are all the same right? They found an advertised
professional but
thought why pay that
much. So they called around using the yellow pages and found a
DJ
that was more than half
the price. The job was two systems in two rooms one for dinner
and all of the
events like toast, introductions, cake and then dancing in the
next room.
Bellow are pictures
of the DJ's equipment for this event.

This is the main DJ system
used for the dance. The room was built in the 1920's and the
floor is spring loaded. This walkman doesn't have anti shock.
That means every song skipped all night long. notice there is
only one CD player. This meant that after ever song the music
would stop for 20 - 30 seconds.

The event manager tried to
dress up the table used but as you can see it doesn't look very
nice.
In the main hall the DJ
brought in an I-pod for the music. No microphone for the
announcements. You can see it to the left of the lady in
the picture .
(The shinny spot on the stage
next to the lady).

The bride and room were not introduced and the best man maid the
toast by yelling.
Here are the pictures of the rest of the event

The
espresso bar.
Look how
nice everything looked and what an event this could have been.
Do you think the guests remembered how great everything looked?
Or how much they might have liked to hear the toast the father
gave the bride, or why they left early because the music was so
bad during dancing.
Maybe if your lucky you will get this guy.
This picture was taken during an event. We were working in the
next room and stumbled on to this person by accident.

people
are talking about Sound Express -
Our guests actually had the
best compliment for you. They said it was the best “party” they
had ever attended. Both Melissa and Olav had a vision for their
wedding as a short and meaningful ceremony to share their
commitment to each other with family and friends followed by a
celebration that would be a party to remember. You played a big
part in making their vision come true. While we do not live in
the area, we would be happy to refer and recommend Sound
Express to any future clients. Melissa is our youngest
daughter and second wedding we have planned and we have learned
what an essential role the DJ plays in the success of the
wedding reception. We could not be more pleased with your
performance.
Thank you again for all your
help,
Sincerely,
Roger and Susan Emmons

Todd,
Thank you
for all the work you did for our wedding. The DJ you assigned to
our event did a fabulous job. Working with you to set everything
up and pick the songs we wanted was a great experience. It was
stress free for me amidst the stress of everything else. I can't
tell you how nice it was for me. I really appreciate your
knowledge and the ease of working with you. Thank you

I will defiantly recommend you and your company to everyone
who asks and everyone I know.
